About the Pastor

He also meet his wife Mary in Berkeley and was married there Dec. 31st, 1983.
His wife Mary is a licensed Social Worker for Kaiser Hospice program.
He has two children, Nathaniel who attends Cal Poly University and Annalisa who attends Claremont High School.
Pastor Thom and his family live in Claremont for the past 13 years, as they moved there when he began his doctoral studies at Claremont School of Theology.
He graduated with his doctorate degree in 1996 and since then has served as an Adjunct Professor at Claremont School of Theology in the area of Religious Education.
He has also serves on the Trustee Board and the Church Relations committee there.
Before moving to Claremont, Pastor Thom served at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Fontana for 10 years.
He also has published two books through Augsburg Fortress Publishing House:
Confirmation: A Congregational Planner, 1999 and Celebrating the Seasons of Baptismal Living,

Pastor Thom also organizes a Spiritual Pilgrimage every two years since 1998.
His trips have included: Israel and Egypt, Greece and Turkey, Italy and Sicily, Denmark and Norway and Sweden, and most recently this July, a Russian River cruise. Hope you enjoy some pictures from his trip below.
